IncahistoricalJourney.com is a web-based storytelling experience that explores different parts of history from the Incan Empire. The assignment was to use typography as a key element to convey the narrative. It emphasizes in the power of type in setting the tone, emotion, and context in storytelling.

I gathered my research on this topic and focused on 5 subjects that describe the Incas: Machu Picchu, Civilization, Social Structure, Architectural Design and Technology. I used the typeface Libre Franklin for It’s flexibility and how It blends well with the theme. Some of the historical websites are simple with just headings and paragraphs, so I wanted to approach this with adding some animations that will make the readers enjoy viewing and learn more about the Incas.
